What is the best Arizona town in which to live? I am taking a job in Phoenix and need to know the best place to look for a home. It needs to be good for raising a family, not too large of a city, and within a manageable commute to Phoenix. Thank you.

IF YOU WANT TO LIVE JUST NORTH OF PHX , YOU MIGHT CHECK INTO A PLACE CALLED ANTHEM,AZ MAYBE 30 MILES UP I-17. VERY CHILD FRIENDLY. MESA ON THE EAST SIDE OF TOWN IS CLOSER DEPENDING WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING. IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU ARE WILLING TO SPEND. SURPRISE ON THE NORTH WEST SIDE IS ALSO NICE AND VERY AFORDABLE.

You need to find out in what area of the valley you will be working in, and submit the question again. Phoenix is a big expansive city, and you will want to live near your job. So will you be working in the West, South, East, North side? And is it NW, SE, NE, SW Valley? All of that is important. There are tons of places to live that are family friendly, Anthem, Surprise, NW phoenix, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, etc....... The list could go on and on. There are places I would not send anyone to live in phoneix, Pretty much all of Indian School rd in west valley. Sorry for those who live on that rd, no offense, but most of the shootings, murders, car jacking, come from that area.
